Our Story

Four decades of showing up — with a smile and a full glass.

Trocadero Restaurant Lounge & Liquor has been a cornerstone of the Gary community since 1985. What started as a neighborhood gathering place grew into something the whole city relies on: a spot where the food is honest, the drinks are poured with care, and the atmosphere feels like stepping into someone's living room — only the living room has better cocktails.

We bake our bread in-house every morning. We source our produce from local farms. And we still write every check by hand at the end of the night, because we believe in knowing the numbers behind every plate that leaves the kitchen.
